I must watch you turn away as you unravel me
No longer mean to wind
In to a skein the threads of my life,
I swore I'd see it through the end
Don’t let this task, I'm blacking out, sinking...
Light, the rays that come with dawn
All fail to rattle me,
Or lift the weight of madness from my bones
Throwin' down, drawin' my line
In the sand at dividing time
Still my breast,
Take my hand ‘cos sometimes
I forget, you're imperfect
I Must watch you turn away
As you unravel me,
And with no walls
I take the full
Brunt of the blow to my core,
I swore
I'd see it through the end
With this task done,
I'm blacking out, sinking...

Give me just one reason,
Or tell me it's all a game,
My mind's in disorder,
I've lost my
Way, I'm faced with failure,
Tell me it isn't so
Before my thoughts take me places
I hate to go
And you'd have me think
I'll forget your assurance
Instead of a jailer
My incentive blocks the way between me and
The life I bled for,
This is not new
Territory, I am not a stranger
To where I've come to be,
I just see it through weaker eyes
Now with no sanctuary,
I'm forced to relive the uncertainty,
The aberration is that I feel
Days bleed into blurred modes,
Pain grows monotone,
Then hardens and dries,
Leaving bitter
Holes, which doubt tears open
Carves them fresh new roads,
I'm frantic, my skin cracks
As my grip fails
Come clarity, unbind me from
Accursed thoughts of what could be,
Erase the phantom agony
Of being severed from my seed
Bring solace from the silence
That with such fury haunts my steps,
Quell the sounds of seasons dead
That amplify my regret
